Dr. Rosalie H. Contino, PhD

Dr. Rosalie H. Contino was born, raised, and still lives in Brooklyn, New York.

She attended Fordham University where she received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

After college, Rosalie taught grammar school in Fort Greene before she transferred to a junior high in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, in order to teach English. After years of working with kids in the after-school theater program, she pursued both her master’s and doctor’s degree in educational theater and costume design at the New York University.

Now that she has retired, she enjoys being a writer, playwright, costume designer, as well as a lecturer.

Rosalie has two other novels entitled Born to Create and As Life Goes On: Lessons One Doesn’t Want to Have to Learn.
